The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 56 new cases of COVID-19 in the country bringing the total to 66,439. One new death was recorded while there were 165 recoveries. Kaduna State topped the list. The 56 new cases are reported from 10 states- Kaduna (18), FCT (17), Lagos (6), Plateau (5), Kano (3), Kwara (2), Yobe (2), Ekiti (1), Niger (1), Rivers (1). The breakdown in the tweet of the NCDC shows that the 56 cases were from 10 different states. Kaduna State recorded the highest number of cases with 18. The Federal Capital Territory followed with 17 cases while Lagos State had 6 cases. 165 people recovered, which brings the recoveries up to 62,241 from 62,076. One new death was recorded.
