The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 169 new cases of COVID-19 in the country bringing the total to 66,974. No new death was recorded while there were 92 recoveries. Kaduna State topped the list. The 169 new cases are reported from 12 states- Kaduna (74), FCT (42), Lagos (17), Kano (  , Ogun (6), Oyo (6), Rivers (6), Ekiti (3), Bauchi (3), Katsina (2), Delta (1) and Ondo (1).The breakdown in the tweet of the NCDC shows that the 169 cases were from 12 different states. Kaduna State recorded the highest number of cases with 74. The Federal Capital Territory followed with 42 cases while Lagos State had 17 cases. 92 people recovered, which brings the recoveries up to 62,585 from 62,493. No new death was recorded.
