The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 246 new cases of COVID-19 in the country bringing the total to 67,220. Two new deaths were recorded while there were 101 recoveries. Lagos State topped the list. The 246 new cases are reported from 10 states- Lagos (81), FCT (73), Plateau (39), Kaduna (25), Ogun (13), Bauchi (5), Rivers (4) Ekiti (2), Taraba (2) and Kano (2). The breakdown in the tweet of the NCDC shows that the 246 cases were from 10 different states. Lagos State recorded the highest number of cases with 81. The Federal Capital Territory followed with 73 cases while Plateau State had 39 cases. 101 people recovered, which brings the recoveries up to 62,686 from 62,585. Two new deaths were recorded.
