Re: Fifa U20 World Cup by RuuDie(m): 9:24am On Jul 02, 2007
Zambia 1 - 1 Jordan

like the analyst on TV said lat nite, the Zambians played "primitive football" and i totally agree! 1 goal barely 10 mins into the game and the opposition is 1 man down and you're are running all around the pitch in a mad senseless frenzy like headless chickens i just didn't get it - i kept asking myself "who should be chasing this game?"
Re: Fifa U20 World Cup by mukina2: 11:15am On Jul 02, 2007
Canada  0  Chile 3     .losing your opening match. haba grin Chile you are wicked o grin

Spain 2   Uruguay 2  This is the best match i have watched so far, Diego Capel is a player to watch out for cheesy. The uruguains goals were a master piece both of them .Their captain Cavani is another one to watch out for cheesy I wonder why their coach didnt start that Ghanian grin Spaniard grin sunny Stephen. that boy came in during the second half and changed the macth

Japan 3    Scotland 1

Nigeria 1    Costa Rica 0

Re: Fifa U20 World Cup by whitelexi(m): 1:34pm On Jul 02, 2007
Hehehe, Muki i will watch your boys against Mexico today, I had to stay up between 1am - 3am to watch my beloved country play some crap football on a sunday night when i had to wake by 6am to prepare and take off to work. . .   they are very lucky they won.

Lets hope Gambia will not cause me a heart attack! grin
Re: Fifa U20 World Cup by RuuDie(m): 1:45pm On Jul 02, 2007
I think the Gambians play a whole lot better than Nigeria and Zambia; they've been together for a pretty long time that team and show a high level of cohesion and understanding !

say whats the Argentine time like, anybody have a clue
Re: Fifa U20 World Cup by viee(f): 1:56pm On Jul 02, 2007
Ruudie, u r right abt Gambia being together for a while
but they play amateurish game

i still rem their games in U-17
their lack of exposure clearly showed
Re: Fifa U20 World Cup by mukina2: 1:58pm On Jul 02, 2007
we shall win kiss those boys have a lot if they win. so they are playing with their hearts grin i hope my boyfriend scores though kiss I will watch

Re: Fifa U20 World Cup by viee(f): 2:03pm On Jul 02, 2007
muki i thought u r from S.Leone?
Re: Fifa U20 World Cup by jejelolatu(f): 2:04pm On Jul 02, 2007
we would have to wait and see.

their 1st game would either MAKE or MAR them. cos right now most foreign sides know nothing abt them.

@viee
if gambia is amateurish how then would you rate the naija side that played this morning
@ muki
boywhat

where is razorr?now more than ever.
Re: Fifa U20 World Cup by RuuDie(m): 2:09pm On Jul 02, 2007
viee:

Ruudie, you're right about Gambia being together for a while

you're right but that was U-17; over 3yrs ago - now i think they'll be a lil' better now. guess it just boils down to the opposition they're playing but i'd really be disappointed in 'em if they held the advantage like Zambia did and then fluffed it !

@ Mukina2,

g'imme your b/f's shirt no. so i could look out for him  grin
there are some Gambian folks living in my compund and if they win, they'll give me quite an earful later in the day c'os i always tease 'em about Gambia's lack of participation in football !
Re: Fifa U20 World Cup by RuuDie(m): 2:11pm On Jul 02, 2007
wish our local stations could show a lot more of the other countries instead of limiting it to just the African teams !
Re: Fifa U20 World Cup by viee(f): 2:14pm On Jul 02, 2007
i hope they do well at least for mukinas sake

jeje, what im sayn is that between Nigeria and Zambia
Nigeria played better game
this African teams always play fancy game and seem to forget where the post is situated sad
they will have the possesn and mi field
yet one counter attack exposes them

i just hope Gambia will make my night worthwhile wink
Re: Fifa U20 World Cup by jejelolatu(f): 2:35pm On Jul 02, 2007

Re: Fifa U20 World Cup by mukina2: 2:52pm On Jul 02, 2007
@ Ruudie here we get to watch all matches .courtesy of our national tv station cheesy
wherever the scorpions are, we get to watch it cheesy
Re: Fifa U20 World Cup by RuuDie(m): 4:12pm On Jul 02, 2007
personally, i don't give a hoot if its the aborigines of Australia, barbarians of Europe or San Bushmen of East Afrique that are playing; i just w'anna watch football - why do they have to restrict our viewership to just the African nations who ain't even giving us any joy sef  angry

then they'll complain about DsTV; at least you'll watch most of the matches - we've got this stupid-ass HiTV at home and all they show is Real Madrid vs Mallorca/Gimnastic vs Barca every single nite like we don't already know how it all ended --- no COPA, no U-21, no high-lites, not even the friggin' scores of the matches  angry  angry  angry
