As humans, we would soon understand that our relationship with God and fulfilling His purpose for our lives is the most important thing. If we keep up trivial pursuits at the expense of spiritual and eternal realities, we would find out that it was a waste of time and a regretful thing when we cross over into eternity.

As you strive [huzzle] to make it in this life, to be and to have the success, money, comfort and etcetera in this temporal world -- which is a nice thing but not the purpose of your existence -- don't fail to strive even more for the weightier things, the salvation of your soul and that of others, eternal rewards, glory, mansion that will last for all eternity. To the natural man this may seem unreal and a pipe dream but understand that the enemy of mankind is still a liar, a deceiver and an accuser. Deception will increase in the last days. The wisdom of this world is foolishness with God.

As you strive for the temporal gifts and blessings in this world, don't neglect the Giver and the proper and wise use of His gifts and blessings --this is most important. Labour more for the 'meat' that does not perish. Labour more for eternal things and lay your treasures in heaven. Strive to fulfil God's purpose for your life in this generation according to His revealed Word, though not by your power nor your might but by the Spirit of the Lord, and you cannot start fulfilling it without the Lord Jesus Christ in all holiness, righteousness and truth. Know it that Jesus will come again very soon in this present generation and there would be that day of reckoning.
