The NCC have given telecommunications operators in the country two weeks to block all SIM cards that are not registered with national identity Number(NIN).

This coming up as one of the measures to solve the high rate of insecurity in the country and also in a bid to harmonize Data base of citizens. NCC had threatened that failure to do so would lead to people’s line being blocked or disconnected by December 31, 2020. You can link more than one phone number to your NIN.
