Use a courier service to ship your stuff down. It's less stressful and safe.

It depends. Just tell the person sending the stuff down to get the courier service providers in his/her area that send things down to Nigeria then give any of them the stuff (with payment) and that's it. When it gets to Nigeria, they (the courier company) will alert you via email or phone and you will just go to any of their offices and get it. Simple.

Some of the most popular ones are - FedEx, UPS, DHL, CourierPlus, and others. It's just like waybilling we do with God Is Good and the rest of them.

My last experience with Post office was not funny at all. For an item of $500, I was asked to pay #40k in their office here after paying for shipping and insurance fees from Australia.
