Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to President Muhammadu Buhari, Garba Shehu, has said that repentant bandits played a role in securing the release of the over 300 abducted Kankara schoolboys. Recall that on December 11, gunmen attacked Government Science Secondary School, Kankara, Katsina state, and abducted the said students few hours after the arrival of President Buhari in the state for a week-long private visit.
