Please fellow Nairalanders, I'm very confused now. I just concluded my ND in SLT and I've got 2 admission offers to either study Microbiology in my HND for 2 years or B.Tech in Public Health for 4 years restarting from 200level in a renowned Nigerian University.
I'm really confused, which should I go for and how lucrative/effective is studying Public Health in Nigeria?
Please, your contributions are needed and I also need enlightenment about issuing out B.Tech for a health related course. Thanks in anticipation for this kind prospect.

I think both options are okay. The comparison will depend on what you want for yourself. If you want to continue with HND it's fine and takes a shorter period of time, but studying public health as a degree course isn't bad as well. If getting a degree is the goal, then go for the BTech in Public Health. If mastering microbiology/SLT for medical lab expertise is something you like, go for the HND, it would even give you more future options to select from if you can finish with a distinction or at least upper... You can always get a degree after the HND provided you finish with a good result.

More importantly, ask God for direction...

Thanks man, I appreciate... Timeframe is not actually a problem for me here, all I'm interested in is getting the best and most lucrative certification.

I adviced that you should take public health over MCB. Some NGOs and FMCG coys prefer public health practitioners.

Go for B.Tech in Public Health, more opportunities are in Public Health.
