Following the emergence of Hon. Alfred Urukpe as the President Elect of Ovwian Community in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State in an election conducted today Saturday 26/12/20 at Ovwian Community, the Executive Chairman of Udu Local Government Council, Hon. Chief Jite Brown (JP) has congratulated Hon. Urukpe and his Executive , stressing that the emergence of Urukpe would further help to improve the security network of the Ovwian community and its environs as a result of his political experience cum prowess as a one time Councillor and former traditional prime minister of Ovwian Community.

Speaking further the Aberen of Udu Kingdom advised the newly elected President to extend hand of friendship to his opponent because in this kind of election there is no Victor no vanquished.

The Udu Council Boss prayed God to grant the newly elected President of Ovwian Community and his Executive the wisdom of the biblical Solomon so as to pilot the affairs of the Community successfully. Hon. Jite thanked Ovwian Community, the electoral Committee and the immediate past President of Ovwian Hon. Chief Mathew Uparan aka Odjeku for conducting a hitch free election.
