Engr Chris Emeka Azubogu made the statement earlier yesterday, 28th December, 2020 while leading the board members of the National Automotive Design and Development Council headed by Distinguished Senator Osita Izunaso to inspect the level of work done on the perimeter fencing of the Nnewi Automotive Industrial Park, which is one of the key projects he facilitated into Anambra State and located at Akwaihedi-Unubi-Uga in Nnewi South and Aguata LGAs.

According to Engr. Azubogu:
"There is no better time for us to focus towards activating and expanding our productive sector than now. Getting our productive sector active will trigger job creation and help to reduce crime rate in our country.

We understand the impact Nnewi Industrial Park will create to Nation's economy. The project when completed is projected to generate 25,000 direct jobs, 100,000 indirect jobs with about 10,000 SMEs in our economy that is faced with weak productive sector. He said.





The Anambra born Federal Lawmaker, Azubogu later led board members of the National Automotive Design and Development Council to facility tour of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing plant located at Nnewi, with the CEO of Innoson Group, Chief Innocent Chukwuma.
