Jesus do not like coming in an unprepared way that was why God sent John the Baptist to come before him so as to prepare the way for him.

Just as he didn’t come unprepared, when he came to die for all, so he won’t come back the second time without being prepared.

Long time ago, the scribes (biblical lawyers) revealed Elijah would come before the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. They were privileged to know about the coming back of Elijah through the books of prophecies they read before the birth of Jesus.

However, they didn’t get the full information as the book of Revelation 11 revealed they would be two witnesses (Elijah and Enoch) who would come to prepare the way for Christ’s second coming.



The prophecy of their coming back to the earth, I mean Elijah and Enoch, confused even the disciples of Jesus so much that they kept on asking him why Elijah must

come before him as stated by the scribes when they saw Elijah and Moses during the transfiguration of Christ.



“And his disciples asked him, saying, why then say the scribes that Elijah must first come?“

To answer them, Jesus told them that John, the Baptist, had come as Elijah, but they didn’t accept him. If they were to have accepted him, he would be an Elijah to that generation. Thereby, ushering in the great tribulation, which would have led to the second coming of the Lord Jesus. Since they didn’t accept John, who came in the spirit and power of Elijah

according to Angel Gabriel in Luke 1:17, Elijah will come with Enoch — the father of Methuselah — to restore all things and prepare the way for Jesus to come back again.

According to the book of Revelation 11, Elijah and Enoch must come during the great tribulation before Jesus comes back. Without their coming back to the earth, Jesus will not come.

There was a good reason both prophets did not die when they lived on earth. There were the only two human who didn’t die.





In addition, they will spend 3 ½ years on earth. In fact, the great tribulation, which will shake the world, will also last for 3 ½ years.





After they’ve completed their mission on earth, Antichrist would kill them. As rightly stated in the Bible, the whole world will know. Their dead bodies will be in the street for 3 ½ days. The world will witness it through television and other visual media.

After the 3 ½ days, they will be resurrected in the presence of everybody. Before the resurrection, the world will celebrate their death because of their love for Antichrist.

After their resurrection, Jesus will be revealed in the cloud coming back for the second time.



The Bible says in Matthew 24:28 that it will happen immediately after the great tribulation.

So, don’t let anyone deceive you; Jesus will never come until you see Elijah and Enoch in Jerusalem. More so, before you see them, the Antichrist would have been revealed to the world.

God help us to meet up with the rapture as no one knows when Elijah and Enoch will come. Even Jesus and the holy angels are not privileged to know the exact date: Only God the Father knows the hour as revealed by Jesus in Mark 13:32.

If you believe Jesus will not come back again, you make all the prophets (who prophesied about the second coming of Jesus), Jesus and God liars. It is not possible for God to lie.

Surprisingly, I’ve heard so many false things about the second coming of Christ. Some even said Jesus will not come back again. If I may ask, what do you hear about the second coming of the Lord Jesus?

The second person isn't Enoch. That was just assumed by some group who believes they will come back physically because they didn't die.

The two who will come will be a type. Like John was a type of Elijah.

People who have gone to glory don't come back to earth to preach. It goes against the story Jesus told in the rich man and Lazarus.

Besides, most Christians don't know this and aren't expecting an End time Elijah.

1. Enoch
2. Moses
3. Elijah...

Why people believe it's Enoch and Elijah is that both didn't die actually... But were ruptured to heaven..

But remember Jesus told his disciples that John the Baptist was Elijah... So that means Elijah finally returned to die... "It is appointed for man to die and then judgement"

Moses body was hidden by God... so there was no evidence physically of His death...

Also no one knew the end of John the revelator...

So we are left with 3
1. Enoch
2. Moses
3. John

1. The two witnesses are Moses and Elijah
2. Enoch is a type of the church. We will not go through the tribulation. The church will be raptured before the tribulation (1 Thess 5:9 kjv).
3. The apostle John (not John the Baptist) is also a type of the church.
4. Elijah is a type of a Jew raptured at the tribulation.
