angry why are we always made to believe that government can not run any successful enterprise or business?
Whether the national stadia all over the country oh or the national theatre oh, or a national air carrier oh, or even this train that is trying to be revamped?

These same government officials- politicians and civil servants,
Have thriving businesses they don't mess with or employ lackadaisical attitudes towards!

What is wrong with us Nigerians always with the mind that na government property?

See the Lagos stadium see the national stadium
See Ibom Air see Nigerian Air Ways
See National Arts Theatre see Deepend Cinema and other film houses
See national museum see Terra Kulture and Nike Art Gallery and others
See bar beach of yesteryear and see private owned beaches
See government schools, hospitals, housing estates and private ones
See government workers and see private ones
See Government owned business transport and see the private ones...

Poor maintenance culture, I don't care attitude, wickedness and lack of stewardship, loyalty and faithfulness is what will destroy any enterprise and sadly that is what most government establishments and enterprises are soaked in. cry

I believe government can run a successful enterprise yes with government workers and for government's profit.
Just right attitude, commitment, drive and dedication mixed with entrepreneurial and business mind...

Well shebi we are capitalist and not socialist na

I see this stadium back to its abandoned state years after this rehabilitation. I see funds approved for maintenance being looted. I see no one being jailed as a result of that. This I have seen.

In 6 - 8 years from now, this stadium will look like a refuse dump or an abandoned construction site. They put in so much funds to newly construct or revive a structure, only for the project to lack proper MAINTAINANCE CULTURE afterwards. What's the Essence of spending millions on a project if eventually it'll be left to rot ND decay like every other project the Government handles?? undecided

This former stadium should have been well preserved given its historical value to this nation, but successive governments just have this poor maintenance attitude of national monuments.

Good.

They should quickly fix it to a good standard so that we can start seeing nollywood movies there for as low as N500.
How dare all these nonsense Nigerian actors and actresses put their useless movies in cinemas and put the same pricetag on it like quality foreign movies?

How can I watch their useless comedies and dramas for N2500 and N3000?

God forbid!
Untill they start spending money on their movies to reach the quality of international standards, I CAN NEVER SEE A NOLLYWOOD MOVIE FOR MORE THAN N500.
