The number of persons is 357. Solution: 7 men + 7 wives = 14 Number of children for each man and each wife = 7 Number of children for each man with the seven wives = 7×7 = 49 Number of children for the seven men and the seven wives = 49 × 7 = 343 Total number of persons = 14 + 343 = 357. |
