The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 964 new cases of COVID-19 in the country bringing the total to 121,566. Two new deaths were recorded while there were 2054 recoveries. Lagos State is reported to have topped the list. The 964 new cases are reported from 19 states- Lagos (360), FCT (88) Ogun (73), Imo (72), Kaduna (67), Plateau (57), Abia (41), Osun (41), Rivers (32), Kano (26), Niger (24), Benue (23), Edo (20), Cross River (20), Akwa Ibom (  , Nasarawa (6), Zamfara (6), Ekiti (6) and Jigawa (4).The breakdown of the NCDC tweet shows that the 964 cases were from 19 different states. Lagos State recorded the highest number of cases with a total of 360 cases. The Federal Capital Territory followed with 88 cases while Ogun State had 73 cases.
