This sermon by Apostle Arome Osayi clearly explains the truth about what the Bible says about women ministering in church. Watch and be blessed.

In the era of Christ man and woman have become equal in terms of kingdom inheritance.

Jesus evidently came for everyone in his time including women.

That the women in the old times were culturally seen as housewives doesn't mean there wasn't Mary who would sit by his side all day listening to the Master sermons.

It was more of a cultural barrier then if you consider the story where Christ came to the home of Mary and Martha (Luke 10:38-42) her sister was occupied with kitchen duties which she invited Mary to participate in.

This was a fellow woman reminding her sister where her ideal place by their culture should be (think of how the men would feel at that era)

Jesus told Martha that Mary was the one doing the right thing (so he never saw an issue with women been at the fore front of the Gospel).

Someone would ask why didn't he select female deciple?

Answer is that he was very careful about the cultural inclination of women at that age who were preferred as housekeepers.

If he had selected a female desciple the Pharisees would have pointed out how insensitive it was to deprive a father, husband, children of their housekeeper (the woman)

In our era today where women are given equal preference (thanks to the Christ principle early western nations imbibed) it is not out of place to have a Christian minister.

However she must cover herself in a manner appropriate with decency and an intent to serve God not men

There is a difference between women "ministering to people" either through a spiritual gift/ministry area (inside or outsideof church) as opposed to being in pastoral leadership over a congregation.

I can't remember the thread I saw it on, but someone did a superb job in listing all of the gifts and ministry areas that a godly woman can serve in....excluding pastoral ministry.

Like i pointed in my first comment women are considered equal in kingdom inheritance by Christ.

This "division of labor" referred to as gifts which excludes women from certain aspects of the Gospel is satanic and unbiblical (it originates from pride, entitlement, self righteousness)

Christ preached equality of all in every aspect in relation to kingdom inheritance, he came for the exact reason to humble humanity from self exaltation.

You can't be following Christ doctrine yet believe only men have the monopoly of accessing all that partains his ministry.

If this issue was such a big deal Christ himself wouldn't have left us stranded on it, he explained everything to the end of time.

The only time roles were explicitly defined for gender in the Bible was when it comes to family Ephesians 5:22-24

People should stop rewriting the Bible to suit their perceived bias especially when the theory they assign to themselves is not biblical nor approved by Christ.

Look at Christ example don't follow people

Prophetess Deborah did more that what pastors do. She led/pastored a nation that God called His own people and she was chosen by God!

So God has not changed His ways.

Woman are spiritually qualified to lead and pastor churches.

Any idea to the contrary is not of God but of men. That's why God still uses women to pastor His flock, some even more than He uses men, like Kathryn Kulman.

God bless.
