Emmanuel Adebayor v Michael Dawson: Harry Redknapp will be relieved that Dawson came through Saturday’s draw at Wigan unscathed, given the injuries to key central defenders, and this will offer the centre-back another challenge. The pair met in the opening game of the season, though Manchester City striker played only the last seven minutes against Spurs. In three previous clashes, Adebayor was kept quiet, though he did score twice against Dawson, for Arsenal, in 2007.
