The Rune Pages

The rune pages or a rune page is a part of the rune book. These pages contain all the artifacts and items that can be utilized by your heroes. You can get a maximum of 30 rune pages in your rune book. You might have to buy extra rune pages for your account. This is because you can only get 3 extra rune pages alongside your pre-set 5 pages.

The First Five

Each player is given a pre-set rune pages when they just started in the game. A player can change use these 5 pre-set rune pages. These rune pages are considered the basic runes that fit all the characters in the game. As a newbie, you need to be able to utilize the pre-set rune pages. That way, it will be easier for you to craft and customize rune pages for a stronger champion in the games to come.

The Paths

We mentioned that there are five pre-set rune pages for every account. However, you need to remember that every page, follows two different rune paths, the primary and secondary.

Primary rune paths consist of keystones and other lesser stones while the second one is composed of 2 or more secondary runes to create stronger rune pages.

The Slots

As a beginner, you only get one slot per page. As slowly level up in the game, more slots are opened to you. More slots in your rune pages will open once you have reached level 10. You don’t just get more slots but you also get to open higher tier runes for your rune book.

Substitute and Customize

One of the things that you need to remember is that not all the rune pages in your rune book are useful all the time. Thus, you must learn to substitute your runes.

With your extra blank rune pages, you can use these to create customize rune pages for your unexpected games. That way, you can easily win games without antagonizing runes that aren’t meant for your usual games.

Renaming

With 25 rune pages in your rune book, League of Legend wants to make it easier for you. You can easily rename your rune pages to names that make it easier to remember. You can name it depending on your preferences. That way, you can easily use the runes in these rune pages on certain games without spending a long time looking for them.

To edit rune pages, just click the edit button. From there, you can change the title of the rune page.
