The private sector-led coalition against COVID-19 (CACOVID) has disowned the statement by the BUA group, stating that the company plans to purchase one million doses of COVID-19 vaccine for Nigeria.

In a statement issued earlier on Monday, the BUA group had announced that it would purchase one million doses of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine, through the AfreximBank vaccine programme in partnership with Private Sector Coalition Against COVID-19 (CACOVID).

However, in a statement, CACOVID denied BUA’s contribution to securing the doses, stating that purchase of the vaccine cannot be done by individuals or companies, but only through the federal government.

Arrrrrrrh

The Buhari lead government must have spur this move. Simply because they couldn't do what BUA did in less than a month. The rate at which this government want everybody to depend on them is so appalling. Well I can't ascertain BUA's deal but if their deal was true then the Buhari envoy must have caution the company about its charade risk.

Well, I won't collect that vaccine, I don't have corona, simple !!

Why not partner with BUA?.Get the needed funds paid directly to the vaccine manufacturers while the covid - 19 taskforce takes over from there. Why play politics in everything?

Good development.

Meanwhile,
For some enemies of the states,
saying negative things about this vaccine already, as they remain negative to EVERYTHING everyday of their lives,
For the ones saying there is nothing like CORONAVIRUS,
We have this for your types...

Vaccine is a personal thing.
No one is forcing you to take it.
If you want it,
and want to protect your life and the lives of your love ones,
go for it , it is free.
If you don't want it,
No one is forcing you to receive it, or begging you to,
stay away from it.

Those are the 1m vaccines South Africa said wasn’t working for their country and wanted to dispose of but BUA wanted to get it and share free to promote their image as a socio economic friendly company in Nigeria. Now a new twist is coming in, CACOVID wants to stop BUA and ensure government funds are used in the deal so that their fronts in government can make billions in profit from the deal

Is bill gates not a private individual? Or probably government wants all vaccine to come through them so why can't cacovid partner with government as usual or there is more to this vaccine thing?

Why the backbiting? Do they expect hard earned cash to be given to a corrupt and incompetent Govt in order to maintain the cycle of embezzlement, poverty and death? Apparently all the borrowed monies, oil and IGR not enough for public servants.
