About the Role

The Website Administrator is responsible for a variety of duties and responsibilities in managing website design, deployment, development and maintenance activities. Perform testing and quality assurance of websites and web applications to foster success for the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities of the job

1. We are looking to engage a seasoned expert in Web Administration, such individual will be responsible for maintaining our client’s website.
2. He/she will find, create and install tools to create web content and check consistency.
3. Take editorial responsibility for the content, quality and style of the site and provide first layer support for the users.
4. Ensuring that the web servers, hardware and software are operating accurately
5. Designing the website, generate and revise web pages
6. Updates new web pages in a timely manner
7. Ensures that links are operational and web pages errors are quickly resolved
8. Respond to chats and comments on the website
9. Generate, examine and monitor site traffic
10. Oversee the website construction, maintenance, content management and placement.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

1. Bachelors degree in Computer Science or other related technical field e.g. relevant engineering field.
2. MCTS (Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist) or MCP with requisite web design application qualification and experience.
3. A minimum of 3-4 year’s hands on working web development experience is required.
4. Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, Perl, ASP.NET, Flash DHTML, SQL, Dreamweaver, Net and programming.
5. Hands-on experience in graphic works and building landing pages.
6. Good working knowledge of CMS application Drupal, Word Press, Joomla, Express Engine
7. A thorough knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques.
8. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
9. Attention to detail.
10. Great verbal and written communication skills.
11. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
12. Teamwork skills.

Salary range
Between ₦80,000 -- ₦100,000
