The adoption of *Sharia Law* in some states of the federation, contrary to the provisions of sections 10(which prohibits the adoption of any religion as a State religion) and section 38(which guarantees the freedom of thought,conscience and religion) of the 1999 constitution, has put a question mark on the supreme status of the 1999 constitution. WHY IS THE LAW COURT SILENT ABOUT THIS  |
