Three brothers has been arrested by detectives of the Anti-kidnapping unit in Ughelli, Delta State, HGS Media Plus reports.

The three suspects identified as Godspower Okara, Mathew Okpara and Godwin Okpara were arrested in their hideout while sharing the money they got from the kidnapping.

According to source, the suspects kidnapped the victim, a wife to a soldier, and took her to a thick forest in Ughelli where they contacted the mother of the victim.

It was learnt that the soldier, husband to the victim planned the kidnap of his wife so as to get money from his mother-in-law.

One of the suspects confessed that they kidnapped the victim from her supermarket where she sales.

The mother of the victim was immediately contacted by the soldier and they got the ransom of 4millions two days later which was shared 50/50 by the soldier and the three brothers.

The three suspects claim that it is their first time of kidnapping and that the soldier assured them that nothing was going to happen.
