Note that you must have booked hotel and return flights( due to corona, you have to book quarantine and 3 different COVID-19 tests on days 1, 7 and 14 of quarantine.) All the above bookings must be done and paid for fully from your base before travelling( note: no reservations allowed). The final COVID19 protocol is that you must have a COVID-19 test certificate done 72hours before boarding your flight to Mauritius.

Security: It is very safe in Mauritius. Only isolated cases of minor thefts and domestic violence are recorded. This is not to say one should move around without applying some safety measures and one should know to keep away cash and valuables from public display and attraction of any prying eyes whether in a vehicle or while walking.
