Critical times call for critical action, we should not shoot ourselves on the foot. NPF must train highway patrol squads, on how to detect and stop and search vehicles, either based on characters in the vehicle or just routine checks. This is done everywhere in the world to prevent terrorists from moving freely in the society, this prevents crime, as arms and ammunition will be seized, and criminals jailed etc. It will also discourage youths from carrying out highway cross border kidnappings and criminality. If you have no guns or contraband you have nothing to fear, we must root out illegal terrorists and merchants of evil, so we progressives live.

Who told you the kidnappers use cars? The just come out of the bushes open fire and force cars to stop, sieze as much people the can handle and March them miles into the bush to their camp or hideout
