Can you useless secessionists, naysayers, and Nigeria haters see your lives now?

This small girl had never lived in Nigeria, till she decided to return and start a business.

Her family are still in the UK.

She came back alone, to start the business.

If you had this girls' positive mindset, Nigeria would be a paradise by now.

But no. Go and cross the Sahara to be a slave in Libya, or wash plates in Italy, or sell drugs in South Africa.

She used those thousands of dollars instead to set up a thriving business in her fatherland.

Now she's raking in millions of naira a month, as her own boss.

Not through oil and gas.

Not through contracts.

Or drugs/kidnapping.

Or high class olosho services.

Or government connections.

Furniture.

A 26 year old.

Your junior.

Una no get shame.

Buhari is your excuse.

Long may she prosper.

Financial support ke?

If you have thousands of dollars to pay to cross the Sahara, plus living expenses in your new foreign destination till you find a job etc etc, then you need no damn ''financial support'' to start a thriving enterprise in Nigeria.

You underestimate what the black diaspora raised in places like the UK and the USA experience. You think it's all 'nothing' compared to what you experience in Nigeria. But if you learnt some of the details of their daily experiences out there, you'd be horrified. And you'll realise there is much more to life than just having 'constant light' and 'good roads'. Thousands of black Americans are now resettling in Ghana, Tanzania, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Rwanda, Senegal etc. They know where's home.

Bruh. if she start the process of her furniture business, and unfortunately, nobody purchase it , I'm sure she had a back up plans like ""going back to UK to make more dollars, or her parents would support her financially"""... Those people that use """thousands of dollars to travel to another country, is because they wanted to work at a place where their money has value"""" not like Nigeria where , 1000 isn't enough to buy ordinary fuel . If a person that had thousands of dollars to travel but he/she didn't , and the person start a business in Nigeria , and laterr the business runs down, do you think people would help him to get back on his feet?.. hell no .. I'm sure you'll be one of people that would tell the person that he/she was supposed to use the money to travel out of the country instead of starting a business in a country that their currency doesn't have value.. .. Bruh abeg try to think like a normal person .. and also .. thousands of dollars to start a business in Nigeria is different from thousands of naira ....

Do u know the astronomical/ "crazy" amount of money business owners pay to PHCN for electricity in Nigeria? Or the ridiculous cost of buying diesel or petrol for your generator to power a company? Little wonder why companies are relocating. Before any business can strive you need power and mind u electricity is power... There are many positive minded Nigerians in Nigeria with business ideas but faced with this and many other constraints.

the only thing Nigeria needs is to divide. A country fighting an ideological war can not make meaningful progress.
Sure there would be thousands of people succeeding in the chaos.. but in a country of up to 150 million people, 10 million successful people are not nearly enough.
Many of the 'secessionists and naysayers' would not be those things in their respective new countries. They would just be patriots

Mr man, you're delusional, exhibiting high level of ignoramus even though deep down you know what's right or wrong!

You even had to lie about the age of the said lady to carve out a topic to suit your delusion.

How dare you compare and eulogise someone that has a strong fulcrum from her people in the UK(anytime she cries for help) and the earnings she has made in the UK(superior currency) before coming to set up in Nigeria to an average Nigerian that's giving their all to thrive in Nigeria where everything just seems to be against us.

Nevertheless, I commend the young lady and her tenacity.

She is wise and exposed, leveraged on her knowledge and exposure/connect to set up the furniture company. As you can see from the short clip, the British living in Nigeria are a focal point of her customer base.

She is doing well!! And I wish her more success.

Btw., I know so many local players in the furniture space that are doing pretty well. The demand is there, if one can offer quality and creativity with a reasonable budget.

Abeg go and sit down. How much do you pay in business tax?

Zero compared to other countries. Let that money you spend on diesel be your 'tax'. It is still small compared to what you'd pay in corporate tax as a business owner in the UK or US.

Many businesses are making it big in Nigeria, even with these same 'constraints', INCLUDING THIS SMALL GIRL THAT JUST CAME FROM LONDON.

sense is very far from you.

If her parents didn't cross Sahara desert when Buhari and IBB and Abacha were fvcking Nigeria from the front, back and side, she would have been killed by Fulani herdsmen in one remote village or maybe molested to death by some uncircumcised hungry lanky herders.

She invested because she had savings from working in the UK where she was born, all thanks to her father who took the bold steps of crossing the Sahara so many years ago.

If you had said a young girl in a remote community in Nigeria builds a furniture business from scratch and now making millions then I will take you serious.

But talking of a girl that brought millions from money she and her family made abroad to invest in furniture business in Nigeria and you are using it to mock or yab Nigerians demanding for a better Nigeria, asking for good governance makes you look so stupid.

Tell her not to celebrate much, go and ask the other woman that returned from US to invest in farming in Oyo, she was making millions too until Fulani herdsmen struck her farms. She was lucky to be alive.

Go and ask God for forgiveness for this nonsense you typed here, yeye girl angry
