AMAC Commissions Rehabilitated Access Road In Pyakasa, Toge, Others

The Chairman, Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Hon. Abdullahi Adamu Candido in fulfilling his democratic mandates has yesterday commisioned newly Rehabilitated Asphalt Access road in Pyakasa, Toge communities to ease the interconnectivity of the villages and boost the business activities around the area council.

The Director of works, AMAC, Arch. Gaza Andrew said during the commissioning that the Pyakasa Asphalt Access road is about 750metres with several culvets; cross culvets and passing culvets at every junction of the road to make the road durable and stand a test of time while the Toge access road is about 480metres with drainage on both sides with the earthworks accompanied with culvets, the road links with Olumi, a village nearby.

He said, "In addition, about 500metres Asphalt road with drainages on both side in the AMAC secretariat was also commisioned.

The Chairman, AMAC, Hon Abdullahi Adamu Candido charged the residents of the communities to protect and guard these infrastructures jealously so that the whole essense of this project will not be defeated but will improve the livelihood of people living in those areas, and solicit for their continuous support to the government so that they will continue to benefit more deviden of democracy.

Responding, the Chief of Pyakasa Village, Bako Josiah thanked Candido for always considering the Pyakasa people in developmental projects since his assumption in office as AMAC chairman and promised their continuous support.
