oga in as much as i don't agree with the OP about the price, the 3.2 litre v6 engine (same engine found in ML320) in this coupè body makes this car one of the fastest coupè in that era b4 the introduction of clk430.
The W208 Clk 1999-2003 came in 5 engine variants:
(1) Clk200= Very fuel efficient but lacks enough power.
(2) Clk230 kompressor= Good fuel efficiency with Turbo.Faster than clk200.
(3) Clk320=Surprisingly Fuel efficient with a high torque & very good HP.
(4) Clk430=A Beast with a V8 engine too big for that coupè body.
(5) Clk55AMG= NO COMMENT. Go do the math.

I'm glad you said in that era which is about 20 years ago. Can this car compete with EOD V6 variants which happens to be an average car on the roads today? Mind you we are talking about a Nigerian used example whose engine may not be churning out 100% power anymore. He can place whatever price he wishes, I'm only asking what speed he's talking about as if he uploaded a porsche up there.

All Clk430 V8 sounds like a sports power Bike.

Bro Biko I beg of you. Never you compare a Mercedes benz 3.2 litre engine in a coupè to a Honda 3.0 v6 in a sedan. This car will dust an Eod V6 anytime & any day.
You can only compare it with Honda Anaconda 3.5 Litre v6 engine. which is obviously faster.
My elder Bro as a Hustler, used to own this clk320 way back in his undergraduate years & trust me, this car PULLS. Very fast and well balanced with minimal body roll.
