Footballer Kanu Nwankwo who likes to invest in real estate and the hospitality business, is said to be currently building a new hotel in Owerri which the footballer has told friends will be the best hotel in the Eastern heartland. The hotel will be located along Port Harcourt road, Owerri. Contruction work has already commenced. Kanu owns Hardley Suites in Lagos.

Hotel biz is the booming biz now . . .especially in Owerri.Check out the whole of Okigwe road,Port Harcourt road,Amakohia/Akwakwuma.Methinks there are more hotels in Owerri than Churches.

pls lets see factories and industries more important here because with these we can employ more of our youth graduates and school leavers. 1love+@all

Tourism can still make a difference.Owerri is the next tourist destination in the SW aside calabar  and Imo state will stand to benefit from the multiplier effects.
