The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested a Lagos banker, Elizabeth Modupe Osunjuyigbe for an alleged fraudulent diversion of funds to the tune of over ₦34m

The EFCC spokesman said the suspect will soon be charged to court for trial and prosecution.

I personally believe that joblessness is not the only cause of crime or fraud, covetousness and greediness are two causes of crime.

Imagine a banker (who's not jobless) committing this fraud.

Anyone who's justifying unemployment as the some reason why people take to crime is directly justifying the stealing audacity of politicians, sabotaging by NNPC staff and sell-out by CBN staff.

All the aforementioned have fat salaries which should normally keep them away from stealing and sabotaging, but greediness in their blood is a curse.
