JUSTIFIED DRUNK

Threshold of pain
Yet no sight of cane.
A kiss of love and a whip of hurt
Leaving nothing but thoughts.

Fight between will and want,
A quagmire it is.
The hurdles are constant
Yet the struggle continues.

Nature tries to create a metaphor
With a succinct whisper of the -
Wind just to give succor
To the wounded.

Like alcohol,
The pains,the excitement
they all intoxicate
And man is a justified drunk
