Despite claiming to have rich experience with over 300 successful surgical operations and having her MBBS certificate from the famous University of Lagos College of Medicine , the CEO of Med Contour appears to have fallen out of favour with the her clients and public in general.

Things began to go sour for her in February 2019 when Nneka Miriam Onwuzuligbo, a beauty queen died. Nneka was in the coma for 31 days after undergoing a buttocks enlargement procedure. She became news in April 2020 when Twitter influencer, OmohTee called her out for performing a failed surgery on her. She revealed that she paid N1.2 million for the butt implant and liposuction procedure but soon started experiencing complications. Her clinic was shut down days after by the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) after public outcry. Dr Anu was arrested and arraigned at the Federal High Court, Ikoyi in July 2020 by FCCPC over her failed procedure which led to Nneka’s death.

The Nigerian Twitter community seemed to have remembered her once more. As there were some recent jokes about her among Nigerians. Some claimed that she was still conducting butt enlargement surgery for people and she had only changed base; she was now based in Abuja. A Nigerian lady cried out on Twitter that the suspended medical practitioner still carries out butt enlargement surgery for females in Abuja.

I thought she was arrested. She went ahead to share screenshots that proved that Dr. Anu has resumed medical practice in Abuja despite being suspended.

Maxvayshia tweeted: Well i don’t feel sorry for victims of Dr. Anu. Her info is literally all over social media but in the spirit of “It’s not my portion” they go with “faith“, falling for the same trap while expecting a different result. You literally chose to blow up your ANUs yourself.

Well, from opinions flooding the Nigerian Twitter community, it seems the suspended Dr. Anu is at it. However, what is more astonishing is the fact that she still keeps on getting clients despite her incompetence. Why would women deliberately want to risk their lives for butt enlargement when the person handling it in question is not a professional?
