Oloriburuku omo iyepe. That public infrastructure is almost a quarter of your state's annual revenue.
But wait, why una go leave una potopoto region cos of hunger and absence of economic and social infrastructures come dey abuse people wey they provide for their own people? Your papa house na mud house, you run cos you nor fit stay there, you come dey abuse my papa house, built in a modest modern way simply say gate nor dey there, you nor see say na hatered and hypocrisy dey worry you so?
I fit bet my money, na inside Lagos you take type this rubbish and you go one time or the other make use of that same infrastructure.
Omo atoko waba leje

Some developers who abandoned their region won't like this news...Lagos should be a country and not a state in an already failed entity called Nigeria, how can you have such a progressive state in a country while some evil sucking demons up north keep dragging us to stone age with their disgusting attitude and unending crises?

Only you one enter the North and the East with a single post. You're a genius

Lol funny enough, Oshodi used to be a city I disliked going to, but due to that beautiful Terminal and nice BRT buses, I find myself there almost twice in a week lol You can get buses going to almost anywhere there.

The former Governor did wonders in that project. I have used it once, the use of card in payment makes it budget friendly for individuals that use it daily. Even though it was over cost, it is worth the hype. However, my concerns have been on maintenance culture. I hope the interchange will be properly taken care of, considering the amount and the purpose of the project.

We Nigerians lack maintenance culture. I hope passengers won't use the restrooms without flushing. I hope street urchins won't turn the area as their hide out. I hope maximum security would be available, cleaners well paid and the facility managers top notch.

Such projects should be encouraged in other states and strategic locations in Lagos (Like Mile2, Ibeju Lekki and likes).

Nigeria will be great, if Nigerians behave themselves and handle Government properties as their personal property. The Government is not entirely our problem, but we are our problems.

This is my kind of person and my kind of Igbo guy. He’s progressive and nationalistic in thinking, he shows understanding of our problems/drawbacks and he suggested solutions. Also, he wants other states to make this as a reference. This project shows Nigerians/ Indigenous companies are not lacking capacity and capability to handle futuristic impactful mega projects, just that the governments at the state levels are not ready for the future because of their selfishness and corruption. Igbo Kwenu.

We give too much room for state governments and focused too much on the Federal Government. Don’t get me wrong. I’m a Yoruba man from Lagos and I strongly believe in the devolution of power to the states to create competition for the states, economic growth from the bottom up and deepen citizen interests on governance at state levels. Our problems are the states and they make more IGR than they declared so they can hide their loots.

Built by a yoruba engineering company called planet projects another one is currently under construction in ibadan . You would see more of this world class infrastructure starting from that useless airport in Lagos when we get our own nation.
Apart from him, great Yoruba son like Adebayo Ogunlesi can always come invest greatly in Airport infrastructure in Yoruba Nation, Imagine a Yoruba Nation with the following world class infrastructure;
■ Ipinle Eko (Lagos state) 》》Will have a world class Airport, International and local wing in it. Also Mega ports
■Ipinle Ogun (Ogun state)》》 Ogun state should have only a world class local airport that fly the Africa continent also the airport must have a major cargo wings for exporting. Nevertheless Ogun state must have an effective metro systems and stations to connect to Lagos also Jetties for effective water transportation into other part of Yorubaland like Ajase, Lagos, Ondo and Itsekiri land.
■Ipinle Osun (Osun state) 》》 A world class Local airport is needed as well to receive connected international flights from Lagos, atleast during Osun festival many foreigners from Brazil,,Cuba, Trinidad and Tobago etc comes for the Osun festival,,so Osun state needs a world class airport also a very good and world class road network.
■Ipinle Ondo (Ondo state)》》 There should be a world class local airport with a massive cargo wing also there should be a sea port.
■Ipinle Oyo (Oyo state) 》》 Ibadan the capital of Oyo needs to have a massive Airport both International, local and Cargo wings, Oyo state have a large land mass must utilize it for agriculture production and must be exporting agriculture products to other countries accross the world.
■Ipinle Ekiti (Ekiti state) 》》 Ekiti state also needs a local airport with a cargo facility to export of agricultural products, also railways facility to connect to other Yoruba states. Atleast now, Ekiti is supplying a Milk company in Lagos state Dairy products, in Yoruba Nation more of that will be achieved.
■Ipinle Kwara (Kwara state)》》 Kwara Ilorin will serve as Yoruba Mecca so it needs world class airport both International and local airport so that Yorubas in Kogi, the Okun people would have access to International airport without long travelling distance to Ibadan or Lagos.
■Yorubas in Kogi》》I don't really think airport in needed rather the Military airport might be put in place there for defences.
■Itsekiri Region》》 a massive seaport for export of Itsekiri resources to build the revenue,,also a world class Local airport.
All this can be achieved in a Yoruba Nation because there are Yoruba sons and daughters who are more than capable to put this things in place, example is a Yoruba lady by the name Modupe Elebute Odunsi after 30 years Practicing as a Doctor in the UK, came back home to Yoruba land and build an ultra modern specialist hospital, the marcelle Ruth cancer centre and specialist hospital in Lagos. More will be achieved in Yoruba Nation, not a massed up country like Nigeria.

How did you know, that I am Igbo? Is my flat head showing on my comment? grin grin grin

The IGR is not far fetched. And I agree with the point you raised. The blames to the Government should start from bottom-top and not otherwise.
