However, we can still finish outside the top-four if we drop points and both Leicester (at home to Spurs) and Liverpool (at home to Crystal Palace) win. We need to match at least one of their results to achieve the minimum target for a successful season.

And in a rare occurrence this season, we actually will have a full week to rest, recover, and prepare for our next game, which will be the Champions League final of course. That should be enough time to get the squad fully healthy, including N’Golo Kanté, who’s not expected to feature this weekend. NG asked to come off against Leicester after feeling like he’s about to pull his hamstring, and we should be doing everything we can to ensure that’s not a concern for the 29th — even if he’d want to play on Sunday already.

In better news, both Kai Havertz and Andreas Christensen are available this weekend, with the latter now fully fit after his own hamstring problem.
