The word Bantu has often Ben translated as The Poeple.

So they were called The People... why?

Bantu – a Zulu word for a people which is derived from the Hebrew word Bayithu-ela

"Bayithu" meaning House and "elah" which means of God. So Bayithu-ela means "House of God"...

Bantu's are also known as the "Descendants of the Captives" due to the numerous captivities over the centuries..(Egyptians, Assyrian, Babylonian, Persian, Grecian, Roman)

Bantu is the plural of the word 'umuntu', meaning 'person', and is based on the stem '--ntu' plus the plural prefix 'aba' or "Abba" which means Father in Hebrew... Which is a customary title given to the Most High...

AbBA UmuNTU = The Father's People ...

AbBA UmuNTU = BA-NTU or BANTU

So when they call you Bantu, they are calling you "The Father's People"

They are the ones with the righteous divine nature of the Most High in them.

You will remain ignorant if you depend solely on white man's books. Only a bantu can tell you the Etymology of that word Hebrew because we're the people. Yes, we were taught that it refers to decendants of Eber... Ok great. So how did Eber become Hebrew?

First, the Words Ibri, Ebri etc translated as Hebrew are Bantu language and there are many who go by these names, even today.

Then we have an ancient Israelite tribe like the Gikuyus of Kenya who are also called Khabiru. Khabiru is offen rendered as Habiru from where they got Hebrew. The root word for Khabiru is Kham which means black. So Hebrew simply means black people.

The Efiks, a tribe in southern Nigeria called themselves Eburutu for centuries and the Igbos were called Heeboes by the slave traders. So Hebrew is not a title we wear like a religion, it's who we are... The ancient Hebrews of the bible.
