Can a man at d age of 47 still get a job?

I know of a man who started software engineering at 47 years old and the last I heard, he was the CTO in his company after some years. Age isn’t a big deal if you don’t let it get in the way of your productivity.

Also read of a guy who got a job at google at that age. Can’t give up on your aspirations because of age.

If he has enough experience for the positions and developed himself.

The best bet is to be self employed, an employer is better than an employee

I've seen a 52 year old engineer get a Team Lead job that paid N1.5million per month with accommodation in a highbrow area in Abuja with a chauffeured car.

Imagine that kind of salary and you aren't paying rent or transportation........

Do that for 3 years and tell.me you don't have capital in the millions for any business you want.

My problem is that many people spend their whole life say 25 to 30 working for people. Bringing good ideas and growing their bosses business at the end they will not have anything tangible. Just imagine giving such diligence to your business. Your children will enjoy your hustle.

Yes of course, an 86 year old man was once the Nigeria ambassador to the usa,USA, you never even start

Within the 18 years qt the previous job, did he get additional qualifications?

I cant imagine someone being in the workforce for so long and not get more professional qualifications

I know someone who is about 57 years, he just go job where he is even paid 33k per day.

The answer is yes, I’ve worked in 3 different very excellent organisations in the past few years and I’ve seen 47 or older people get recruited.
You have the qualifications and years of experience.

Easier said than done. Not everybody has the makings and aptitude to own and run a successful business. If everyone owned their own business, then who will be working for all the companies. Research the percentage of businesses that fail within their first 3 years. My point is, everyone's solution is not to start a business.
