CARRIER IMEI BB TYPE MEP CODE BlackBerry Unlock Instructions (83xx/85xx/88xx/8900/9000/9300/96xx/97xx) * Ensure a SIM Card is inserted * Go to 'Manage Connections' * Click on 'Turn All Connections Off' * Go to 'Options' * Click on 'Advanced Options' * Click on 'SIM Card' * Type 'MEPD' (letters will not appear on-screen but a menu will pop up.) * Type 'MEP2' (user will be prompted to enter MEP code) * Enter the MEP2 code (CONFIRM you get "Code Accepted" message) o *If you also have a MEP4 code, type 'MEP4' (you will be prompted to enter MEP code) o Enter the MEP4 code (CONFIRM you get "Code Accepted" message) * Reboot device * Go to 'Manage Connections' * Click on 'Restore Connections' * Device is now unlocked PS To get your mep code, google mep code reader and read info (imei and mep code) |

I just got a uk used bb storm1(verizone) 1. Etisalat said they don't support BIS on Verizone bb hence I can't subscribe from them and 2. Ever since I subscibe for BIS with MTN I'v nt be able to browse with the fone even when MTN sent a confirmation that my subscriptiom was succesful and the EDGE on d phone is in capital letter. Pls what should I do? |

tivta: Glo website claims dat there BIS plan allows for unlimited data bundle but its actually less dan 2gb. NOt sure of the exact capacity. However ur can check ur data volume remainin on glo BIS by sendin a text "STATUS" to "777". Am aware of the ability to tether Airtel BB BIS to a laptop as a modem and browse dont know about Glo. Still tryin to get d necessary details on dat. |

gbolahan1: Goto your Blackberry menu Select Options Click Advance Options Select TCP / IP Check APN Settings Enabled Under APN; input blackberry.net Click Blackberry menu button Click Save Do a hard reset by turnin off power and removing battery Insert the battery and restart your BB Try browsin and let me know of any issues you might have with it |

tundeprime: Most definitely a faulty screen problem. You can take it to Slot Limited in Ikeja or VI for their inhouse engineer to take a look at it. |

sholasho: Sorry dude, cant help with dat one. The code requested for unlockin device is a MEP2 code and not MEP code. The MEP code and IMEI is just needed to calculate the network unlock code also referred to as a MEP2 code. Will check online if it is possible to reset the counter on your device. Will get bak to you on dat. But rite now am sorry i cant be of assistance |

Thanuja: Checked out the site. And its quite cool n straightforward. But am sure you wuld appreciate d fact dat not everyone can afford $60 (app N9,000) to unlock a blackberry device that they bought at a subsidized rate. Especially when such unlocking can be done in Computer Village for about N3,000.  |
