Alaba’s move to Real Madrid is one of the transfer deal that got many football enthusiast talking, following the official announcement of the Austrian from the Los Blancos camp. The 28 year old join Los Blancos on a free transfer from Bayern Munich following the expiration of his contract.

While the Austrian has penned a five year deal with the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu side, he would be looking forward to meet his new teammates and manager once the Euro 2020 Championship comes to an end.

The signing of Alaba means Los Merengues are getting set for the new campaign, while the versatile left back comes with lot of positives for the Spanish giant in terms of what he offers on the pitch.

While at Bayern Munich he managed an impressive total of 35 goals for Die Roten with the Bundesliga, DFB Pokal and Champions League to show for.

It would be interesting to see David Alaba in Real Madrid’s color with a lot of positives attached to his signature ahead of the new season.

Sergio Kun Aguero – (Manchester City – Barcelona)

Following Manchester City’s defeat to Chelsea in the UEFA Champions League Final, Sergio Aguero left the Sky Blue side to team up with the Blaugrana on a free transfer after his contract expires.

Barcelona officially announced the Argentine forward as one of the new recruit ahead of next season by offering him a two year contract until 2023 and the deal includes a release clause of €100m.

During his time at City since joining from Atletico Madrid in 2011, the 33 year old won 15 trophies for the Sky Blue with five Premier League titles, six Carabao Cups, one FA Cup and three Community Shields. He also became the club’s all time goal-scorer netting 260 goals in 390 games for City.

The Blaugrana would certainly depend on his goals and experience come next season for a brilliant outing in the league compare to what they had in the just concluded campaign finishing third on the log.

Eric Garcia – (Manchester City – Barcelona)

With Gerard Pique gradually nearing the twilight of his career Barcelona have reacted smartly by signing one of the La Masia product on a five year deal, becoming the first signing of the new campaign for the Camp Nou side.

The career path of the youngster is similar to that of the club captain Pique who also played for the red side of Manchester before he left for Barcelona in 2008. While Garcia is more experienced and already a Spanish international, it would be interesting to see how the former City defender fit into Ronald Koeman’s team next season.

To say the Blaugrana struggles in defence last season it’s an understatement, but with the recruitment of Garcia perhaps the former City man could add more bite defensively to the Barcelona team with experience of Pique, Leglet, and the youthful energy of Mingueza and Araujo.

Dayot Upamecano – (RB Leipzig – Bayern Munich)

Following the imminent transfer of David Alaba to Real Madrid, Die Roten acted swiftly in approaching RB Leipzig for the signature of France centre back Dayot Upamecano to replace Alaba.

The Bavarian club activated the defenders release clause by parting with €42.5m to sign the Frenchman on a five year deal. According to the Bayern board member Hassan Salihamidzic who said in a that “we’re convinced that Dayot will be a very important member of ZoZur team in coming years”.

With such statement from a well respected member of Die Roten, a lot would be expected from the Frenchman following his impressive campaign with “Die Roten Bullen” last season with a total of 2332 minutes played and 12 clean sheets kept in 29 matches.

Ibrahim Konate – (RB Leipzig – Liverpool)

Another Die Roten Bullen player that would be playing his club football elsewhere in the English Premier League next season is Konate. After four seasons in the Bundesliga with RB Leipzig where he made 95 appearances and scored four goals, come next season he would be wearing the shirt of Liverpool.

Prior to signing the France’s U21 defender Liverpool has suffered a lot of injury crisis to their centre backs like Virgil Van Dijk, Joe Gomez, and Joel Matip. But with the Frenchman now in the mix the Jurgen Klopp side could bank on his skill set in the defensive third next season.

The Kop indicated Konate has sign a long term contract after finalizing terms and passing his medical, following his €42m move from Leipzig to Liverpool which means that Ozan Kabak won’t get his loan deal been made permanent.

Florian Thauvin – (Marseille – Tigres)

Mexican side Tigres are also not on the back foot in the transfer market with the signing of Marseille’s winger Florian Thauvin on a free transfer. The 28 year old moves to Mexico on a five year deal following the expiration of his contract with “Les Phoceens”.

With his move to the Liga MX he will reunite with former teammate Andre-Pierre Gignac, who also left Marseille in 2015. Thauvin did achieved plenty of success with Les Phoceens having joined them in 2013 even though his stint with the Magpie wasn’t a success.

Thauvin’s move to the North America side further brings to the fore how financially buoyant Tigres are in terms of bringing in experienced players from top Europe’s club side. Interestingly Thauvin’s won’t be the first time, having seen the likes of Guido Pizzaro, Carlos Salcedo, and Diego Reyes joined from top sides in recent seasons.
