No wonder ipob are claiming Niger delta people land.
you are an idiot.

There are Igbos in other parts of today's SS. Asaba people are Igbos for example.

There are Igbos, though small in population, in Benue.

Igbos on the edges of SE were cut off and Joined to other regions.

there's no much difference between this and Ozoro polytechnic stadium.

Thought it has been converted to a university?

Ibeno should be the Miami of Nigeria

Tinapa was a booming torrist attraction until the roads from Aba to IkotEkpene brokedown. Tinapa is now a ghost town.

Southeast and South-South are inseparable if you want the geographical area to flourish.

Just because of a stadium, una don bring your tribalism inside
If most nigerians are like una, even Sierra Leone will be better off than us soon...
Funny enough, most of you are grown adults
Can't wait to leave the country for una

When Real Madrid and the like fly into Nigeria to play matches there I will recognise the stadium as a worthy investment. With the Uyo Stadium in place I expect the private sector to turn the stadia into money spinners attracting world class football tourneys.

This is the prototype of the stadium under construction. This is the first project in Nigeria that the finished product will be better than the prototype!!!
When I read such infantile comment, I cringe. Such blanket statement reeks of either mischief or stupidity. How many projects in Nigeria have you seen their prototypes and final construction? And for your information, that stadium does not look better than the prototype.

Small size in term of population-yes.
In landmass, bayelsa is bigger than imo and abia state joint together.

Is Singapore not a million times better than Nigeria with all its so called big population and land mass? I don’t know why such useless things excite the mind of most nairaland bigots.
Most of the European countries Nigerians are dying to immigrate to, are their populations even a third of nigeria’s population? Keep fooling yourself.

Good work on the stadium so far, but I have a problem.

Why is Eket still looking like a slum? It's very dirty, shanties everywhere. The so called remodelling by the state government is taking forever to be completed. That Eket Ibeno axis should be very inviting, clean roads, well aligned buildings, the beach entrance should be exquisitely beautified. What is the job of the Chairmen of Eket and Ibeno LGAs (Chairmen in Akwa Ibom are just there to occupy space, nothing to show). Why are environmental laws not enforced in Eket for heaven's sake? If that alone is tackled Eket will surely look like a city but for now as far as I'm concerned Eket is just a large slum!!! No puns intended, the truth has to be said.
Local government chairmen are mere stooges. They can't execute projects be ause the Local government funds is still being managed by the state government.
My cousin who happens to be a chairman in one of the relatively developed LG council was lamenting bitterly about this in December when I visited home.
The real projects going on in Akwa Ibom are in the pockets of politicians.

And for what reason would Real Madrid be playing anywhere in Nigeria, talk less of Eket! Nigerians and wishful thinking.

Actually igbo land is the life line of the south south. Check the areas that are far removed from igbos like bayelsa...with all their wealth and small size yet nothing to show. Akwa ibom is close to igbos geographically and even culturally, and our influence looms large over there resulting in progress. they love us and we love them.

Bro don't hate who God has blessed cool

As an Akwaibomite, u are right on this one. We and Igbos are one. That's the simple truth. We Akwaibomites are not Hausas or yurubas in ethnic closeness but Igbos.
