Please i would like someone in the house to give an information on how EXXON MOBIL and SHELL sets there aptitude test for engineers. For example the banks use GMATS, what can one use to prepare for an Oil Company Aptitude test.

Based on my experience, Exxonmobil test for Engineers is basically of two sections-GMAT and professional questions based on ones area of study.I believe the major constraint is TIME.I also heard something/anything is possible for those who,

Hello frnds, i got an email invitation yesterday 4rm xxommobil 4 an appt./skill test on 4/11/06. but another one came shortly informing me of the cancillation of the previous. But promis 2 reach me shortly. so, keep your ears on ground. gud luckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk.

i got the same mail but the second one also came in but the content is same only that the test venue is in uyo and not lagos

MOBIL TEST:

Well basically, you have to get a GRE and practice the following:

1. Interpretation of Diagrams(pie chart, bar charts, graphs)

2. Short passages upon which you will be asked highly intelligent questions.
By the time you practice GRE or GMat you will get acquainted with it

3. For the professional part(MECHANICAL), you have to revise: fluid mechanics ,pressure, heat, force, bending moment, shear stress, angular velocity etc.
