Though I haven’t deleted my Twitter App despite the FG’s Twitter ban, however, why do I still get notified from Twitter despite not using the VPN app.

Funny enough, I am not able to read the details of the tweets I am being notified of.

Anyone has an idea why this is so?

Because you didn't uninstall the app. Its at the background consuming your data and battery.

Twitter used Google Services to implement Push Notification to phones (Android, iOS and WEB).

Except FG ban Google, you will keep getting the notifications on your phones.
