I see no check in place. Just an avenue for the infected to spread it to their families and those in the ride along their way home

The decision is commendable based on confirmed cases on campus before it becomes uncontrollable.

But closure of the school is a wrong step, as this will further facilitate the rapid spread of the virus and students will have to go to their various homes. Instead, the school should have embarked on a massive testing of the students within and outside its environment to curtail its spread.

When people refuse to get vaccinated.
Actions or in actions as in this case has consequences.
This is the connection between sentiment and poverty, sentiment and poor education, sentiment and societal decay.
And boy, do Nigerians love their sentiment. So we must enjoy the suffering.

Are you sure they are sufficiently equipped to embark on such massive testing of over 20,000 students on campus?

Vaccinated with a trial vaccine that no one actually knows what's inside it, right?

I pity you.

You can take your vaxx in peace but please leave out those who don't want to participate in your suicide attempt.

I don't think they have the resources to do that. Moreover, even while on campus, students often visit home and mingle with the larger society. They could still have spread it in the community even if they were not sent home. Many who do not have hostel accommodation attend lectures from their various homes.

Even the educated acts as fools in Nigeria. Is it not easier to lock down the campus and conduct test. Now they are sending COVID-19 to other parts of Nigeria.

I am amazed how this people in authorities think
