Mathew 7:9 simply talk about repentance and salvation, read verse 8 and 10 to get the real interpretation and not Sack. it talks about those that refused to give their life to Christ.

Moreover, most people don't know the responsibility of the pastor. it is not the responsibility of the pastor to win a soul to the church but to water the souls that had been won, though the bible says go ye to the world which means all Christians can win a soul through preaching the word of God but not the primary role of a pastor. The primary role of an evangelist is to win souls/ bring people to church through Christ and the pastor continues it from there.

Winning souls is the responsibility of every born again believer.
