The Olympics Gold Medal is NOT made of REAL GOLD.. It is worth about $500 in real value.. It does not come with a monetary value gifts from the IOC.. Except that given to the Athletes by their Fédération. Athletes have sold their Medals overtime and the amount of money,it can fetch at Auctions and Sales can vary.. Depending on the history of the medal.. You would expect Usain Bolt's 100M Gold Medal Win,to fetch much more than an obscure Gold Medal from Archery..  The medals can go from as low as $10000 to more than a million dollars.. 2 Likes |
