I am a here to disclaim the news circulating online that the Bus which took off with some Corp members to Katsina had left from The University of Uyo Campus. On that faithful day, 27th of July, 2021. One Mr. Kingsley Akpan porpularly know as "Galaxy" (who has been arrested and interrogated by the Police) booked some students along Ikpa Road (University Road), brought an inexperienced and unknown bus driver and handed him the students to take to camp. The driver took a night journey which mostly unsecured looking at Nigerian roads now and was involved in a ghastly motor Accident at 2.am. In as much as we condole with families of Corp members who lost their lives. We must let the whole world know that About 20 buses which had left inside the school campus had arrived safely with students. Thanks to our experienced Drivers. I also use this medium to warn PCMs of boarding roadside buses to camp as it posses the risk of falling into the wrong hands. Please let us all be guided.
