Not highlife per se. Rather, pure undiluted Igbo traditional music.

Pure sounds from the village (kpọkọ music).

There but this Oliver De Coque track I heard last month though I can’t remember the title of the song even as a Yoruba man I really love the song very danceable.
I can’t find it among the listed tracks...

It goes like “ Enima ti Ekwazu”

12. Mbilia Bel (Boya Yé)

Not an Igbo highlife music per se.

I grew up in a remote village in the East and this was a popular song on the radio in those days. It was usually played around mid day.

Listening to it again brings back this nostalgic feel. Amazing.

Deep Forest (Sweet Lullaby)

This is not highlife music. And definitely far from being an Igbo song.

Aka Eze Aka Who used to host mid morning show on Radio Nigeria, Coal City Fm, Enugu made me fall in love with this song.

I was just a little boy in the 2000s growing up In a remote village in the East. And this was Aka Eze Aka's theme song on his mid morning show.

We had no electricity in my village. So, the radio was the only form of entertainment we had. Myself and my sister would usually not miss mid morning show. It ran from 10am to around 12pm daily. Interesting show.

We had nothing really to do in the village. Especially during holidays. So we'd typically listen to radio and read books.

Nostalgic.
