$ = Power steering fluid = while I know RR has their own fluid, you can still use any transmission/gear oil for it
∆ = Brake fluid = You can use any brake fluid (hydraulic)
Love = Wiper wash fluid = just use clean water mixed with any liquid soap like "morning fresh". Please avoid detergent.

I can't really figure out the yellow sign but I think it's the VSC (stability control). Go and check it out with a diagnostic tool.
Meet any vulcanizer for your tire pressures na!!

Pls can you post pic of the best power steering fluid, hydraulic used for Range Rover Sport 2013 Model?

Because there are several products in the market. So i don't want to buy a product that will give my Range Rover problems

It's better you go to Coscharis and find out.

There is no Coscharis in Benin City and any Range Rover location recommendation in Benin City will be highly appreciated?

Ah! I don't stay in Benin, bro. But you have to ask around

The Range Rover sport dashboard that is pictured here is a 2009 model and not 2013. Maybe it was upgraded to 2012. On thé driver door, you will be able to read the year of manufacture. The amber light on the dashboard is telling you that you have a problem with the air suspension hence it is permanently on and the likely fault is the air compressor . There are good power steering fluids in Benin and I will suggest that you go to Otopec at Airport Road and there is a man that sells good products there. Ask him for Johnsen power steering oil. Then I will send you a number in Benin who will help you put your car in order after your reply

Surprised to see the strange looking dash undecided

I drive a 2016 model. I would strongly advise you look for a dealer or Landrover specialist close to wherever you live to sort out your vehicle. Landrover vehicles are a money pit, but if well looked after, they are amazing to drive.

Photo of mine after an accident a year ago, cost me £20,000 for the manufacturer to fix it.

2m would have fixed it properly. Most times, mechanics call us from the US and asking if we can fix these accident cars. The parts are expensive but the repairs are not high and like you stated, maintenance is key. Managers don't deserve to own a range rover, only directors.

I just finished talking to him. These were the oil he recommended for break and power steering. What do you think about the oil he recommended?

Dot 4 is ideal for the car but not all dot 4 are beneficial. If a producer of a product does not know the difference between break and brake, run from the product. As for the power steering fluid, go to otopec and get it from the guy. Any product with German technology is fake. It's the same thing with battery that is made in china with Korean technology. The bottom line is that you are the one that is going to bear the cost for ignoring the right oil, so use the right oil. You can also ask for Total brake oil at Akpakpava station. It is Dot 4.

It was repaired by the manufacturer, Landrover. It explains why the price is high, they use OEM parts right down to the bolt nuts. The damaged car spent 2 months with them and came out like new. Labour itself only cost £2500, the rest of the money went for parts.

Landrover is an awesome car to drive, but very expensive car to maintain. To fill up mine with diesel alone costs £100, and I fill it up at least twice weekly. I would strongly advise that anyone who chooses to own one should have a fund set aside for repairs, because you will definitely spend on repairs. There are other luxurious cars that are cheaper to drive and maintain. Personally, I'm a Landrover addict and this is my second one. I owned an Evoque before this one.

It is the manufacturer that created the notion that it is expensive to maintain. 2 years ago, Bearmach was selling one diesel injector nozzle for 78k but this year, it is now 140k, the last time I checked. Coscharis behaves like them and that is why they are called stealers instead of dealers in the US. OEM parts are not foolproof, they fail easily. As for other luxury cars that are cheap to maintain, I have never seen it. Someone just bought the front headlights of a Super sport Lexus for 750k, and I once changed the engine oil of a Bentley 6.0 that requires 15 litres of oil. The Abs module on a land cruiser is over 1m. All these parts on these cars will never go bad on a Range Rover easily. And they're not as luxurious than the range rover. Addicted to something good is a blessing. At least you did not enter the Land Rover circuit with the first generation Sport like me though it was a 5 year old model then and since 2011, na only V8 be the real thing. Nothing else matters.

Attached are the receipts. Long story short, insurance refused to pay for the repairs and I had to pay for it myself. Case against the insurance company is currently with the Ombudsman to look into a refund.

Lastly, you should observe some decorum when you accuse people you don't know of telling porkies.

lol I know right!
It was funny to hear a 2016 car which can't even be available again brand new, not like its a special edition ,that someone was spending £20k for repair bills, something weh aftermarket parts from scrapyard go full town.
Well, maybe the guy don't like scavenging for parts so he tends to go to a dealership for repairs so those cost can be possible because of OEM parts and they will be many since the car was accidented.
But the big question is,
Is spending £20k on top a 6yr old luxury car worth it or a smart financial decision? To me,NO!
Well,to each his own.

This is the oil endorsed by Landrover, recommended by Landrover for Landrover. grin

All Landrover authorized dealers use this oil for service. They gave me this one as a spare after my last service.

You are right. There are times when I look back and think it might have been the wrong decision on my part. However, i like this particular car for various reasons - it has been modified and upgraded to look like a 2020 RRS, plus it hasn't given me any major machanical or electrical issues since I got it unlike many other RRS SDV6 models which are notorious for being very unreliable. When I had the accident, I thought abour selling this car as scrappage and upgrading to a full fat Landrover Vogue, but decided to keep this one for now.
