Matilda Omonaiye/ NewsmakersNG Agents of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), in Lagos, have secured the interim forfeiture of N241, 000, 000 suspected to be proceeds of unlawful activities of one Abdulsalam Bawa of the Account Department of the Sustainable Development Goals Office. NewsmakersNG learned that the agency also made an interim seizure of a property belonging to Bawa at Plot 1121, Ekukinam Street, Utako District, Cadastral Zone, FCT, Abuja. According to a statement from EFCC’s spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren, Justice Nicholas Oweibo of the Federal High Court, Lagos Judicial Division, in Ikoyi, gave the order following an ex-parte application filed by the EFCC. Last time I checked EFCC chairman cannot account for all the funds they've acquired. The looters and the EFCC are all the same, if you can't account for this funds, sounds like it's been shared among some people. I rest my case... |
