The UEFA Champions League is the most prestigious of all the football club competitions in the world.

Almost, if not all footballers wish to play the competition and win it, but like the popular saying, “many are called but only few are chosen.”

He also played for three teams in the competition, Parma who he had 6 appearances for, but it was for Juventus he had 113 appearances with three of those coming in the final of the competition while he also had five appearances for PSG.



The finals where Juventus and Buffon lost were in 2003, 2015 and 2017.

Teams: Ajax, AZ, Ac Milan, Inter Milan and Barcelona.
