You're living in Nigeria, that's the problem

In Us a female can make up to 5000USD selling feet photos online, who hasn't seen feet before.

On a more serious note, most people have a good job over there and the developers or IT specialist there are not quacks like what we have here. Yes, developers are saturated but with a lot quacks. Someone was calling himself a WordPress developer but all he does is just to make drag and drop website, he can't develop plugins or themes.

with the rapid development in the information world, the fuse about the financial gains involved in data science gave rise to the interest in the field in a higher scale.

Now, I wish to ask, will data analytics field not be saturated with Number of people trooping in? (thanks to it financial awareness).

just like the web development, where every Tom, dick and harry is a web developer having a field day in it due to it simplicity compared to other it field like artificial intelligence. maybe due to it sophisticated mathematics involved.

Now, on the other hand, data science due to it being in it early stage In the IT world is developing vastly at a rapid unprecedented degree, especially when hearing the amount earned from the field.

As it stands, no field is too big to be saturated but only matter of time when people tends to delve into it.

Believe me, thousands of people everywhere are being introduced into the IT sector, these calls for concern on the gradual upsurge on IT skills acquisition (especially Data analytics) . Remember, as it is still in it infant stage, time will come when the available number of willing programmers or data analyst or scientists yearning to secure the job is greater than the demand for the job itself.

what will happen if everyone becomes a data analyst or an IT expert in general? who will give the other a job or hire the other?
for instance, In the old times ago, the number of educated people were little and jobs where available, conversely now, the Number of educated people (graduate or qualified workforce) is high and the number of job is limited.

Take for instance on nairaland, the moment you say you're jobless and willing to acquire a skill, you'll hear "Learn an IT skills" adding to the number of already existing IT experts.

Young people these days do not want to engage in a laborious works or or a work involving physical activity or stress. but looking for a a stress free form of earning of income. just you and your computer and maybe brain on your bed and you're good to go.

Mark today the number of existing data analyst and compare them to the number of data analyst in the next 3, 5 and 10 years from now. so it is for other IT related fields and not just data analyst.

please drop your comments and views.

For your info, web development is not saturated.

Most of those developers you see in nairaland parading as developers don't even know what a for loop is. They use CMS such as WordPress to create websites.

There's a difference between being a web developer and being a software engineer.

If they truly are developers, they'll be taking jobs or working remotely for some huge amount and not going about disturbing the Cyber space for 20k per website.

I guess you might want to reread the post,
No one postulated that the web is saturated but a call for concern on the number of people trooping into the IT world and more awareness is being created. And not just the web development but the IT sector in general!

You can say that about other countries (about the number of people trooping into IT) I can't say the same for Nigerians ( we all know most Nigeria youths are lazy and aren't patient) imagine learning the front stack for 8 months to a year without earning anything?

They'll rather look elsewhere for easy jobs
