Adapapaokoye:Yes it's very possibe , just search for schools with msc. Nursing with pre- registration e.g msc. Adult nursing with pre- registration. When you find schools offering the course, then you can contact the admission officer for requirements. N.B Nursing with pre- registration is for those coming from a completely different field and wish to study nursing. 2 Likes |

https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-nottinghamshire-59569365 Another Brother in limbo … I think Africans countries talk too much without action. If our governments can reciprocate this travel ban on foreign nationals (British and Americans), then they’ll be weary of making draconian rules like this .but no we will only be making noise on blogs |

wallg123: Never. Travel bans are political, not medical. Nigeria has basically downgraded itself in the comity of nations and has not got the clout it should have and is not taken seriously. Look what happened with India and the delta variant earlier this year where the govt dragged its feet concerning putting India on the red list for days even while all the media were shouting to high heavens because it was careful about offending India. If Nigeria bans travellers from the UK, nobody will notice or care, except Nigerians living in the UK. 9 Likes |

Kukujajaja: I think its kinda easy to do this if you are in the university, a lot of people lived this way back in Uni with no problem. However, when we keep saying the communal living of Asians in this country and they all get together well and are happy, that may not be the case for those experiencing it. Its easier to judge people are happy from the outside than people in the situations themselves. I read a lot of horror stories on telegram and facebook group about how they maltreat themselves in their large family living and all and you will see nothing beats having your own residence if you can and accommodate others if its within your budget. No race or tribe is perfect, we all have our shortcomings as well, despite Asians having this "community and strong family ties", I have seen an Asian marriage pack up within 2months because the husband fell sick and she probably didn't feel welcome enough in their house. I actually believe a lot of Nigerian spouses will still wait and let him get well before leaving as a minimum gesture. So sometimes all that glitters are not gold, also when reading the biographies of this top Asian politicians and the kind of school they attended etc, their parents went extra mile to get them in a good neighborhood and schools, but ofcourse you see them making policy favorable to their kind and who blames them. On the other hand, a Nigerian newbie rarely listens to the advise you give them from experience, wants to show off and are not sensitive enough to doing things the right way. The way people attack justwise and others on the student section when they advise prospective applicants to have their school fees or plan accommodation/ not work more than 20hrs etc. Only a few will come back to you and acknowledge their mistakes and say "you advised us ooo". Another scenario, imagine someone needing accommodation for few days as per agreement and then he turned it to full week on without having a discussion with the host or you that connected them for courtesy/politeness. Housing people in the UK is a lot of commitment and finance and if you cant afford it dont have a guest and then maltreat them afterwards. Naija housing that you pay rent, electricity and rare water bills can never be compared to the UK. If you spend £500 on your bills with 1 guest that will increase by 25%, now imagine a family. Advise to people coming is plan your migration/move properly, research widely, ask lots of questions, seek advise and know how to discern useful from unrealistic/illegal advise. Its easier to live in regret and resentment if the UK dream is not planned properly 19 Likes 1 Share |

TheGuyFromHR: India can mess UK up big time if they play politics with the Covid situation. The likes of Wipro, Infosys and Tata are the backbones of the IT industry, they ship in a lot human resources daily supporting critical infrastructure here. Naija on the other hand can be politically played as we are desperate to come to UK even if we are paying a lot of mullah to do so. 3 Likes |

wallg123: Our governments that would rather use 38,000,000,000 to ‘renovate’ National Assembly complex feather than invest in science and medical research. Our Governments that had to depend on COVAX or Gates foundation to dash us life-saving vaccines. Even AFTER the vaccines have been dashed to us for free, Nigerian Government wasted 1,000,000 doses because NPHCDA could not store, distribute and use the donated vaccines. I will not even talk about the fake CoViD test results and the fake CoViD vaccination certificates that ‘our’ people use to travel. 5 Likes |

KOVIC19COVID20: Anyone that has an option of not taking the vaccine in Nigeria should do so. How do you explain that people are being vaccinated with an expired drug? This is not hear say and that is the reason batch numbers of those vaccinated in Nigeria are not showing in my opinion. Most of these donors donate what is almost expired and before we get it, they are already expired. People have their reservations let alone an expired vaccine. 2 Likes |

Chineke biko mee ebere. I’m asking the same question, Nigerians are only good at making noise no action. Just imagine how unfair this is.. the British govt arranged a hotel for you, decided the cost, decided the cost of food, transportation to the hotel, total it and asked you to pay. Even when you have tested negative before arriving the UK. British nationals arriving in Nigeria are free to walk out of the airport free without quarantining. Other Europeans and Americans are free to enter the UK without quarantining, only few African countries made the list. This is more than just an insult 1 Like |

At ppl talking about not paying quarantine hotel, my advise is- if you can afford it, just pay and enter. That was how my family was hoping that the review will be in 2 weeks as mentioned previously , hoping to travel on our intended date and boom, the ban caught up with us. Time is of essence in this journey and every second counts. I was processing Australia work visa around June/July last year before they announced lockdown and till now they have not opened. All money spent on the assessments, ielts, etc gone. Just make hay while the sun shines or all that have been spent so far may be wasted . It is a game of probability now and it could go either way. You will make back the money in 2 months if you are a dependant and you are ready to work. 7 Likes 1 Share |
